COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT MEETING
The final community engagement meeting for the year was held on Thursday 18th November followed by a complimentary BBQ provided by the OCA and ably cooked by Kath and George. The Leigh Creek Community Progress Association sold soft drinks which were very welcome given the warmer weather. The appointed Head Contractors for Fencing – Birubi and Large Demolition works – Delta were present to meet with the community, to provide information also answer any initial questions. Other topics included an update on the Sales Program and the salvage process.

Flinders Ranges World Heritage Community Reference Group Meeting
The Community Reference Group recently met at Nilpena for both the meeting and an opportunity to see some of the amazing works that have been undertaken.
Guests included Steve Hore from the Geological Survey of SA who provided a presentation about his involvement in the Flinders Rangers World Heritage nomination, Mike Hamilton delivered a community engagement update and Ann Marie Lush both from Department of Environment and Water with Ross Fargher led the tour around Nilpena outlining progress of works. A fabulous luncheon was served by Jane and her incredible team at the Prairie.
